Why Modular Systems

In recent years, sports surfaces have been undergoing a revolution. Large-area rolls and cast surfaces are being slowly abandoned at the expense of modular systems.

Modular systems are essentially jigsaw puzzles. They can therefore be installed very quickly and without tedious training.

Panels can be disassembled and transmitted. They are also easy to store on pallets, which also greatly simplifies transport.

Modular systems were around for decades but in recent years they are becoming more accessible thanks to new materials, especially recyclates as well as thanks to more efficient production processes.

Most advantageous is the use of panels as a subbase beneath sports surfaces. In this application, their cost is already lower than the cost of the base structure, with panels offering a number of other benefits: serving as a drainage and shock pad in the same time, are quickly installed and portable.
